500 Days of Summer - Interview Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel“Do you think [love at first sight] is out there?”
“I think that certain clichés like that, like love at first sight, are dangerous because then you’re letting someone else define it for you. You have to make it for yourself, you have to figure it out for yourself… If it’s real love, then it’s going to be unlike anything anyone else has ever felt before, so their descriptions of it, you can take what you want and leave the rest but it’s never going to be summed up in someone else’s mind.” —Joseph Gordon-Levitt
These two are SO cute together in interviews! One of my favorite friendships in Hollywood… so genuine and real. I need to watch Manic!
I also learned something new about 500 Days of Summer from this interview: that Summer was the only one allowed to wear blue (except the dance sequence scene that she isn’t in, where everyone around Tom is wearing blue to remind him of her), that even when she wasn’t wearing blue she was always around blue. I’m excited to re-watch the movie with this detail in mind.
Seriously though, I love these great quotes I’m getting from JGL’s interviews. He has great thoughts and opinions, truly.
Includes that epic tale of Joe rocking karaoke too hard
The Nerdist TV show tackles the tough questions.

Lol, Channing sets the record straight. From yahoo!movies:
Channing Tatum is setting the record straight when it comes to his involvement with the apparent upcoming movie musical remake of “Guys and Dolls.” And he says 20th Century Fox is spinning its own version of the story.
“The studio didn’t come up with that idea. Joseph Gordon-Levitt had that idea
The fact that it is in fact Joe’s idea to do a movie remake of Guys and Dolls makes me even more fucking ecstatic.
I want to touch his beard.
